Mireth Technologies announced the immediate availability of NetShred X 4.0 on Friday. The new version of the Internet activity erasing application added support for the Firefox 2, iCab 3, and Shiira 2 Web browsers.

The update also added support for the Thunderbird 1.5 email client, along with the ability to erase site passwords in Firefox 2. NetShred X 4.0 is priced starting at US$24.95, and is available at the Mireth Technologies
